Drake On The Cover Of Complex – February/March 2010

Hip hop artist Drake has been the man of choice to bless the first cover of Complex for 2010. The latest issue of Complex is set to hit newstands nationwide on February 8 and obviously includes a cover story with Drake titled “Hype or Drive – Drake Hit’s Light Speed”, as well as other features involving Snoop Dogg, Kelis, Soulja Boy Tell ‘Em and more.

With the rate at which Drake has risen to stardom in the music industry there will defiantly be a hot seller. Not to mention it’s a pretty dope cover shot too. In his article with Complex Drake speaks on a variety of things such as his relationship with Lil Wayne, competition with fellow newcomers like J. Cole and using his inspiration from ex-girlfriends to produce #1 hits.

Jay-Z has released the official music video for “On To The Next One” featuring Swizz Beatz with a guest appearance in the video by Young Jeezy. I can’t say the video is my favorite from Jay-Z but the song itself defiantly goes hard and has been one of my personal favorites off of “Blueprint 3″.

Rihanna feat. Young Jeezy – Hard

By now i am sure many of you have seen it, the brand new music video for Rihanna’s hit single “Hard” featuring Young Jeezy. The single has been playing heavy on the airwaves and now that the video has been released you can’t turn on MTV, BET or any other music video station without seeing it. As always Rihanna is looking great in the video, specially this one.

Kanye West “Storytellers” Coming To CD/DVD

Earlier this year in February VH1 aired a segment part of their “Storytellers” series featuring Kanye West which apparently according to ratings was well viewed. Personally speaking i have not seen the episode with Kanye, but I am sure more then a few of you have since Kanye has a huge following, and the fact it’s been re-aired a few times since it’s original airplay. For those who haven’t seen the “Storytellers” segment with Kanye, or any artist for that matter, VH1 informs describes it as a series in which a singer/songwriter performs and tells stories about their life in the industry, writing lyrics, playing with other musicians, and their career in front of an intimate audience.

The segment must have gotten such great reviews cause VH1 has decided to release the “Storytellers” segment featuring Kanye on a CD/DVD combo.
