Star Wars x adidas Originals – Fall/Winter 2010 Collection
July 29, 2010
A few more of your favorite Star Wars characters will be added to the extensive footwear collection between Lucasfilm and adidas Originals. Set to appear as part of the Fall/Winter 2010 Collection is a frozen Han Solo, who’s represented through a Silver-ish SL-72 tying into the moment when Darth Vader freezes him and ships him to Jabba the Hutt, who by the way is also included in the form of a Green Metro Attitude. The inseparable R2-D2 and C-3PO also make the cut this time, with both characters sharing a pair of Top Ten Low’s. Last in line is the wookie we know as Chewbacca who’s seen honored through a furry Brown Jogger High. Supra Thunder – Fall 2010 Releases
June 17, 2010
Jim Greco’s signature pro model with Supra, The Thunder, comes off strong for the Fall 2010 season with a lineup of three new high’s and two new low’s. Tonal yellow and white canvas cover two of the high’s while a combination of white and black canvas drapes the third, with black pinstripes shown on the side panels. The pinstripe style and the solid yellow canvas version have both been carried over to the two low top Thunder’s being made available, making the sneakers appear as smaller, twin brothers to their predecessors.
Visit your local Supra Footwear retailer now to check on availability of all five.
Nike Air Max Penny 1 “Phoenix Suns”
June 15, 2010
Back in the mid to late 90′s, Penny Hardaway’s signature sneakers were some of the dopest in the game. From his Air Penny 1, 2 and 3, to the Air Foamposite One, Penny’s line was nothing but eye-candy. After bringing back all but the Air Max Penny I, Nike’s prepared to do so by reissuing the sneakers next year as part of their Spring 2011 Collection. Two colorways are expected to release, the original Orlando Magic version in Black/Varsity Royal-White which you should already be familiar with, and a Phoenix Suns edition which is new to the lineup and shown here in Black/Club Purple.
No confirmed release date is available at this time given the distance between now and then but it’s suspected they’ll become available sometime within the beginning of the year.
