Air Jordan 12 Retro Low “Taxi”
February 6, 2011
7-years after it’s initial release, the Air Jordan 12 Retro Low “Taxi” is slated to return to retailers for a second go around. While we’ve seen a re-release of the full-grown Air Jordan 12 “Taxi” before, this will be the first time the low-cut edition will be reissued since it’s hay-day back in ’04. For the most part the sneakers are an exact duplicate of the original. The only difference between those and these is the “Jordan” branding on the heel spine is now black, whereas on the 2004 version it was Taxi yellow. A minor detail change which sure won’t stop these from becoming another hot retro release from Jordan Brand. No release details are available at this time, but TheCoolShoeShine is taking pre-orders on them now for $200 a pop.
Air Jordan 9 “Citrus” – Official Release Date
June 28, 2010
If you’ve been waiting to get your hands on the Air Jordan 9 “Citrus” you’re gonna be happy to hear that you’ll be able to do so a few days earlier then originally expected. It was originally reported that the Air Jordan 9 “Citrus” would release a day before Independence Day but as Jordan Brand is known to do, they’ve changed the release, and thankfully it’s a date which comes sooner then later. The Air Jordan 9 “Citrus” is now scheduled to officially release this coming Thursday on July 1st, 2010.
Air Jordan 9 (IX) Retro “Un-Powder Blue”
May 23, 2010
It looks like Jordan Brand’s getting in on the un-edition’s of sneakers. Not all to long ago photos of a reversed colorway of the Air Jordan 9 “Citrus” surfaced and now we’ve spotted an un-version of the Air Jordan 9 “Powder Blue”.
Using the exact same colors used on the Powder Blue 9′s, the Air Jordans feature just what you would expect from a sneaker using a reversed color scheme. Where as the Powder Blue feature an entirely white upper, the Air Jordan 9 Retro “Un-Powder Blue” consists of white patent leather trim boxing in university blue nubuck on the midfoot and toe. Since the university blue is now added to the upper, it’s been eliminated from the sole unit, as has the solo hit of black found on the Jumpman logo on the Powder Blue’s, leaving the entire sole unit in a pure white shade. Black is however still included on the inner lining and on the graphics on the heel which feature a heart irreplacing the standard 23.
No official release dates are being announced at this time, but select resellers such as MarqueeSole have manged to somehow or another get their hands on a run of sizes. If you’re looking to grab a pair early, hit em up now, no questions asked.
Air Jordan 11 “Silver Anniversary” – Official Release Date
April 8, 2010
Out all the entire Silver Anniversary Collection from Jordan Brand the Air Jordan 11 has to be one of the most anticipated releases. As is the XI’s are one of the most sought after Air Jordans, so when you combined the kicks with a limited edition anniversary theme people are sure to get hyped up over the releases.
We aren’t quite sure exactly how many pairs are going to be made available but we do know that the official release date has been set for May 1st. As further details devlope we’ll be sure to fill you in on all the underlying details, until then mark you’re calendars for May 1st and let’s hope there’s no release date changes between now and then.
Air Jordan Fusion 8 (GS) – Black/Vivid Pink/Flint Grey
January 30, 2010
Since we’re on the topic of Valentines Day lets jump in with a look at this pair of Air Jordans which could make for a decent Valentines Day release given the color choice. Seen here is a GS version of the Air Jordan Fusion 8 which has obviously been produced for the girls, or the guys out there who like to get a little carried away with the pink (Do you man!!). The kicks feature a blacked out upper with accents of vivid pink applied to the inner lining and majority of the outsole. The heel you have the original abstract design from the Air Jordan 8 which has been done up in a combo of white, vivid pink and flint grey, with flint grey also added to the mid-sole.
I can’t say I’m the biggest fan of the Air Jordan Force Fusion 8, however for those who are these aren’t a bad release, specially for the younger female sneakerheads out there. CitySole has the sneakers in stock now and ready to ship and they should be arriving in-store at select Jordan Brand retailers soon.
