KAWS and A Bathing Ape rekindle their partnership and revitalize their Diessected Baby Milo co-creation. Having already introduced the character on a t-shirt and in the form of a 3D toy, the two come together on one of the year’s hottest item’s, a tote bag. Tote bags have gotten real big as companies promote the whole “go green” lifestyle and urge consumers to cut down on the use of paper and plastic bags, so this is a good look for two brands. No release details have been provided at this time.
KAWS x Wonderwall Vinyl Figure

KAWS has linked up with Masamichi Katayam and his architecture firm Wonderwall for another collaboration following up on the t-shirt they created back in 2008. For round 2 KAWS and Wonderwall designed 22cm tall vinyl figure of a brick wall looking character designed by KAWS which was featured on the t-shirt back in ’08. Upon the release of the figure, which is expected sometime during February, there will be two color options available, black/grey/yellow and red/grey/black.

Original Fake x Gallery 1950 Souvenir Jackets

Original Fake and Gallery 1950, a vintage Japanese dealer teamed up to create this souvenir jacket. The jacket is reversible with one side predominantly black with beige around the neck, around the cuffs of the arms and on the bottom of the jacket. The other side consists of black as well, with thick beige strips starting on the shoulders and going all the way down the arms. Signature KAWS graphics are displayed on the left and right chest, and on the back of both sides of the jacket. Souvenir Jackets are known to usually known to be cheesy (yea, i just used the word cheesy, it had to be done when talking about these types of jackets), but somehow Original Fake gets it done with style.

KAWS Dissected Companion 4 Feet Black Version

The latest Dissected Companion from Original Fake, designed by KAWS, and produced by Medicom Toy has just been released today in Tokyo, and it stands at a whopping 4 feet tall! This black version of the Dissected Companion has to be by far my most favorite so far as the neon color usage hits real nice against the black half. I’m not sure exactly how much the 4 foot Original Fake Dissected Companion costs but I believe it’s best to say if you even have to question the price chances are this item is not for you.
