Concepts x RAW “Welcome Back” Skate Decks
July 29, 2010
In the works for well over a year, RAW and Concepts will soon be releasing the “Welcome Back” skate decks that they’ve been hard at work putting the perfections on. The four decks, meant to go together as a series, display photographs taken by Jeff “Spungie” Ferrara and Scott Howe from Concepts of the four major train lines running through the greater Boston area which are defined by their colors – Red, Orange, Green and Blue. The photos were processed and transferred onto the skate decks RAW’s been producing since 2006, making up for a nice collection for all the skaters around Massachusetts, the home of Concepts and RAW. The skateboard decks are available now at Concepts in packs of four and individually.

Girl Skateboards x ALIFE Skate Decks
February 25, 2010
I personally don’t skate, nor do I think I look right on a skate board being 6’7. Being a tall guy like Terry Kennedy I feel I just look awkward on a board. No offense Terry, you got skills regardless, I don’t. Even though I don’t skate I’m really into skate decks, due to the fact the artwork worked onto them is pretty dope. Some of the most recent decks which have caught my attention with their bold graphics are these Girl Skateboards x ALIFE skate decks. The two decks consist of color designs playing off ALIFE’s playful graphics, the one with the ALIFE eyes being my favorite of the two. If you’re a skater, or just somebody who likes to collect skate decks for the artwork on em you can get either of these two decks now through DiPT in Canada.
5boro Spring 2010 Skate Decks
February 6, 2010
New York skate brand 5boro provides us with a look at some of the skate decks they’ve whipped up as part of their Spring 2010 lineup. This coming season the brand will be offering a five different styles, some which are completely new designs and others which are old designs carried over from previous season releases. Either way they’re all simply fresh. A few of the decks will be available in a few different color schemes as well. My personal favorite has to be the deck which is the second from the left, the one done up to look like a suitcase covered in stickers. Defiantly a dope design.
